Patriotic Caramel Bliss Balls
Happy 4th
of July to all our American bambinos out there!
Here’s a
batch of vegan, nut-free bliss balls to celebrate!
Yields: 15 bite-sized balls
Ingredients:
½ cup oats
2 tsp
lucuma powder (can omit or sub for another “super” powder)
10 pitted
dates (approx. 100g)
¼ cup dried
white mulberries
1 tbsp.
coconut oil
Optional: desiccated
coconut, blueberry powder, cranberry powder, goji berries, crushed cashews…
Start by
placing the oats and lucuma powder in a food processor and process until the
oat flakes have turned into flour. Then add the dates, mulberries and coconut
oil and blend until a sticky dough forms. Form small balls between your hands and roll them in blue, red and white coatings for the right, Fourth of July touch!
