We couldn't do the "#bbsmoothies" theme without a green smoothie, so here it is! This thick-shake is so creamy due to the soy milk and the avocado, is high in protein from the protein powder and soy milk, full of antioxidants, fibre and healthy fats, a serve of veggies and fruit and lets face it..super tasty!
Serves 1
1/2 cup packed spinach
1/2 cup packed silverbeet
1/2 pear chopped into chunks
2 tbsp ripe avocado
1 tbsp natural sweetener (rice malt syrup/stevia/honey)
1 tsp maca powder
2 tbsp plantbased vanilla protein powder (I use pea protein as it is so creamy in smoothies)

half a handful of raw walnuts (about 1/4-1/3 cup)
2/3 cup soy milk
Blitz altogether in a blender until super duper smooth and thick, top with more crushed walnuts if desired.
